WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE
Our in-house creative agency is searching for a highly motivated and conceptual designer to join our team of creatives.


We are looking for a dynamic, self-sufficient creative designer to join us at
2 U-Studio teams (Unilever's award-winning in-house agency).


This role will be a hybrid team role, splitting the creative's time across two teams**:60% Global Beauty and Wellbeing Category based in 100VE with 40% of the resource being dedicated to the Unilever Local Homecare category based in Kingston.


This role is rich with creative opportunity, which houses some of the world's best-loved brands, including Persil, Dove, Simple, Comfort, TRESemmé and Domestos.


As the Senior Creator, you'll be taking design projects from brief to completion, focused on digital and social assets and campaigns, online content and product visuals for all platforms and channels, including digital, print, and experiential.

You'll be able to lead, not just be led, and enjoy taking ownership and responsibility for projects.

You need to be a team player that would enjoy sharing their knowledge and experience whilst elevating and championing others in your team.


You will be happy challenging briefs when necessary, producing problem-solving design solutions, elevating brand design across the digital ecosystems with coherent thinking and exemplary execution as your ambition.

You are comfortable as a self-managing designer, working directly with clients to answer their marketing needs with stand-out creative outputs.

You thrive independently and seek to exercise your creative instinct in a fast-paced environment. You have a curious mind but a perfectionist's twitch. You are invested in the accomplishments of all, not just the self. You_ love_ what you do.


WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE GREAT IN THIS ROLE

  • A portfolio demonstrating your ideas through concept to execution.
  • You'll have a deep affinity with layout, typography, and ideasgeneration.
  • Strong attention to detail with a deep understanding of best creative practices and brand behaviour across digital channels.
  • A passion for digital trends, creative concepting, branding and design elevation.
  • A champion of diversity and inclusion in design/ creative with a proactive mindset to challenge briefs for better and an instinct to create for all from brief to consumerfacing outputs.
  • Ability to selfmanage multiple (individual and team) projects simultaneously, client meetings and expectations and meet tight deadlines with examples of this workflow management.
  • A good working knowledge of Adobe After Effects and/or Cinema 4D and/or Premier Pro for basic animation and editing.
  • Desire to be a team player with a clientcentric focus and the ability to build strong and effective working relationships.
  • A highly creative designer with the ability to take and positively influence client briefs with your own innovative ideas.
  • Confident in bringing your own ideas and creativity to projects whilst working within a broad range of design guidelines across a variety of artwork collateral.
  • Effectively organising and prioritising workloads to manage client delivery whilst simultaneously influencing clients with their own ideas and conceptual creativity
  • On and Offline design experience with an emphasis on Digital
  • You'll have a deep affinity with layout, typography and ideageneration.
  • Ability to take ownership of projects from concept through to completion.
