- A basic electrical / mechanical understanding. GCSE Grade C or above in English Language and Maths.

- Conduct qualification tests on new products, equipment or processes to validate their performance and adherence to quality requirements.
- Collect and analyse data from quality control tests, inspections and audits to identify trends, deviations or non-conformities.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation of inspection results, test data and other quality-related information. Prepare comprehensive reports summarising findings, trends and any non-conformance issues, and communicate them to relevant stakeholders.
- Perform inspections and tests on incoming materials, components and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Conduct internal audits to assess compliance with quality management systems and procedures.
- Identify areas for improvement and work with relevant stakeholders to implement corrective actions.
- Calibrate and maintain testing equipment and instruments to ensure their accuracy and reliability. Troubleshoot any issues or malfunctions and coordinate repairs or replacements as necessary.
- Collaborate with different departments, such as Production, Engineering and Supply Chain teams to address quality concerns, provide feedback and facilitate process improvements.
- Stay updated on industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to quality control. Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and participate in audits and inspections conducted by external agencies.
