Pharmaceutical Generic Buyer

Location:
Kent / Hybrid - 2 days onsite

Our client is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pharmaceutical Generic Buyer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing generic pharmaceutical products for our wholesale distribution activities. Source and purchase generic pharmaceutical products from approved suppliers.

Monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, and regulatory changes affecting generic pharmaceutical products.

Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, inventory management, and regulatory compliance, to ensure timely and efficient procurement of products.

Resolve any issues or discrepancies with orders, deliveries, or invoices.

Evaluate supplier performance and develop strategies to optimize supplier relationships.

Stay informed about industry developments, new product launches, and emerging trends in generic pharmaceuticals.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with procurement software or systems.

Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards for pharmaceutical products.
