    The GIA Operations Team supports the global GIA function as its 'engine room,' managing a diverse portfolio of critical activities and overseeing key departmental rhythms and routines that are critical to the success of both the team and function. From communications and reporting through to systems development, audit methodology, quality assurance and change management, the Operations team exists to serve the needs of our audit team, as well as partner with the wider Bupa business and external stakeholders. The team has international scope and breadth and is responsible for supporting 100 auditors. You are joining us at an exciting time as GIA becomes a data led, dynamic and valued assurance provider and the Operations team is integral to the development of the function and being successful in our ambitions.

    Day to day you will be supporting your manager and the team in the delivery of key people, communications, reporting and other administrative activities. The role involves a wide variety of organisational tasks, consulting with a range of colleagues, stakeholders, and suppliers on our most important operational initiatives.

    You'll help us make health happen through:

  • Supporting the ongoing activities and development of the GIA People & Comms agenda - creating comms briefs, authoring reports, and maintaining policy documentation.
  • Being responsible for writing, editing, and publishing content on the GIA Sharepoint site. The Primary communications channel.
  • Maintaining and evolve both the GIA Sharepoint and Workvivo (comms platform) sites themselves.
  • Maintaining the GIA key dates and deliverables calendar and departmental 'Flight Plan' of activities.
  • Supporting the planning and facilitation of learning events / conferences for GIA.
  • Managing and developing the new 'Joiner Induction' and onboarding process.
  • Supporting the Programme Management Office (GIA Strategic Change) who provide programme support to project managers and overall programme tracking for Board and GIA meetings.
  • Supporting the development of Learning and Development resources for the GIA team.
  • Supporting ongoing activities of the GIA Guest Auditor Programme.
  • Key Skills needed for this role:

  • Experience working as part of an integrated team involving a range of stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen and commercial awareness.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Excel and other MS software.
  • Strong communication, influencing skills and reporting writing skills.
  • Practical experience of working on multiple, concurrent projects.
