*Here at Head Start Crews Hill Day Nursery and Pre-School we are looking for an Nursery Lunch Cover to join our team.

Our aim is to provide a happy, home away from home environment for all children in our care at all times.

**This role is 20 hours per week, Monday - Friday, helping to support covering staff lunches and support the staff with the children within the room , creating fun activities , putting the children to sleep or having a nice relaxing and fun story.

* Children learn through play and we seek to provide them with physical resources and the emotional support to enable them to fulfil the foundation stage of the curriculum.

We are lucky enough to have large garden areas where children have plenty of opportunities to be active outdoors. Our outside play areas provide an exciting learning environment and encourage children to use their imaginations and have fun.

We have an established team of experienced practitioners creating enabling environments and activities to ensure every child achieves their full potential.

We promote parent partnerships and provide daily updates and photos about your child's routine and activities. *Main responsibilities include:

• Provide engaging and purposeful experiences, environments and resources to children, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development
• Level 2 or 3 in childcare
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent and visitor at all times
• Understand the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS and staff: child ratios
• Ensure children are supervised and attended to at all times, maintaining appropriate staff: child ratios
• Provide the all-around daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social and emotional development We want everyone to be able to make a difference to the lives of children and families up and down the country.
