    Description

    Pertemps are looking for experience CNC Machinists to work alongside a locally based, long standing machinery manufacturer in Bingham, Nottingham.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision parts for our manufacturing processes.

    The CNC Machinist will work with a variety of materials and must demonstrate proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy and quality in the finished products.


    What will I be doing?

    Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, turning, and threading.
    Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining operations.
    Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and adherence to production specifications.
    Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy using precision measuring tools.
    Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment as needed.
    Troubleshoot issues with machinery and adjust as necessary to maintain productivity.
    Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
    What skills and experience will I need?

    Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role.
    Proficiency in operating CNC machines and understanding of machining processes.
    Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
    Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.
    Experience with precision measuring tools and gauges.
    Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machinery issues.
    Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
    Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
    Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
    What is the pay and hours?

    Competitive salary of £30,000 to £35,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
    Monday to Friday working hours.
