    An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team as we look to accelerate our growth across our London, Birmingham, Leeds and St Albans offices. The Talent Acquisition Specialist role is a key element of our ambition to drive continued growth and be the market leader in Construction, Property and Engineering recruitment.

    Skilled Careers are looking for an exceptional individual with a combination of dynamism and emotional intelligence.

    The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be coming onboard to take over our Talent Acquisition function due to a recent internal move. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will work within our existing Business Improvement structure and will be liaising directly with stakeholders including Directors, Managers, Learning & Development and Operations.

    We are offering a competitive base salary alongside a market leading commission structure and benefits including 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays, 1 day WFH and private healthcare.

    Salary is negotiable but expected OTE of c.£60-65k.

    Key skills and experience required

    • of having worked in a recruitment company is essential, whether as a consultant or Talent Acquisition professional
    • experience of working as a Talent Acquisition professional for a fast growing company
    • to build networks and maintain relationships with prospective candidates across a range of seniority levels, both over the phone and in particular, face to face
    • in acquiring and utilising market information to effectively target companies and prospective candidates
    • of a range of candidate sourcing methods including headhunting
    • to prioritise workloads under time pressure
    • to effectively sell Skilled Careers to prospective candidates
    • to liaise with stakeholders to understand their requirements and build consultative, positive working relationships
    • to manage processes, balancing the needs of both the candidates and Skilled Careers
    • of conceiving and implementing new processes to improve the efficiency and impact of the Talent Acquisition function
