Our Trafford Park site are now recruiting for a Customer Service Assistant on a full time basis.


Salary:
£24,774 Per annum


Working hours:
Monday-Friday


Job Description:


The purpose of a Customer Service Assistant is to provide information, reports (KPI and other) and general administrative support within our Customer Service team.


Key Duties of a Customer Service Assistant:

  • Acting as a first point of contact for customers regarding booking and organisation of customer consignments.
  • Accurately processing orders in SCA's SAP system and on the in house GTS system.
  • Liaising with Planning Teams to ensure consignments are collected and delivered to specific customer requirements.
  • Liaising daily/weekly/monthly KPI reports within specific deadlines.
  • Ensuring accuracy of information reported at all times.
  • Updating required logs/spreadsheets daily.
  • Proactively managing performance, chasing planning for late planned loads to improve DOT.
  • Supporting Driverline team as required for late running / FTA loads, returns and rebooks.
  • Keeping up to date with news items, vacancies and process updates as detailed on the ESL Intranet system.
  • Pallet sortation administrative control.
  • Ad hoc Stock Control duties.
  • Cooperating with your employer to enable any legal obligations to be complied with.

Qualifications:


  • Previous experience within a customer service environment preferred.
  • Good geographical or transport knowledge advantageous.
  • Effectively prioritise work load in order to meet set deadlines.
  • Able to demonstrate a high attention to detail.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft systems; Excel and Outlook in particular.
  • Team orientated.
  • Good level of numeracy, accuracy and literacy.
  • Capable of operating with limited supervision within fixed guidelines.
