£18,000 - £24,000 DoE

Gloucester


Our client, a well-established law firm based in Gloucester is looking for a Private Client Legal Secretary to join their team immediately.


The purpose of this role is to provide full secretarial support to the team and assist in the coordination of the Private Client Department's activities and objectives.


Responsibilities:


  • Prepare and send out reports to a high standard, using Bighand for audio typing
  • Use the DPS system for all matters and administer existing jobs
  • Liaise with fee earners, organising and prioritising their administration tasks
  • Maintain the filing system, including scanning and working towards paper lite systems
  • Develop PC skills as necessary to carry out the job tasks
  • Record phone calls, inquiries, and requests, and handle them accordingly
  • Fully utilise equipment and systems; photocopiers, and binders
  • Provide where appropriate, assistance, technical skills, and services to the Partners, Practice Manager, and wider team

Skills/ Experience:


  • Experience using multiple systems, collating, and analysing data, as well as exemplary administration skills
  • Strong audio/copy typing skills
  • Proactive, with the ability to manage your time effectively
  • Experience collating and analysing data
  • Friendly and communicative, and used to working in a business team environment
  • Excellent oral communication, interpersonal skills, and telephone manner
  • Excellent IT and systems skills
