    New Role - Investment and Asset Management Associate/Director

    The role will be based in Cambridge

    Running Hare Investment Management specialises in real estate investment and development in joint venture with UHNW families and funds. Since launch in 2021 the business has acquired three million square feet of assets.

    These include assets acquired for regeneration and redevelopment, a number of which are already being progressed through the planning process for major mixed-use regeneration schemes.

    We also have assets for which the asset management strategy is to optimise the income stream of the standing asset.

    The business now needs additional high quality, experienced investment/asset management professionals to grow the asset base and manage the assets through to realisation.

    The business is based in Cambridge with additional offices in the West End of London, the role is five days a week based in the Cambridge office for at least part of the week.

    The Role
    Investment Associate/Director


    • Oversee your own UK portfolio of assets.
    • Responsibility for the strategic direction of the assets, in line with client aspirations and targets.
    • Planning and development oversight when relevant.
    • Repositioning of assets when relevant.
    • Oversight of agents and marketing process.
    • Maximise revenue and occupancy.
    • Full responsibility for the business plans and budgets.
    • Build, manage and maintain excellent relationships with stakeholders including investment partners, agents, Council partners and tenants.
    • Source new acquisition opportunities.
    • Work on acquisition due diligence.
    The Candidate

    Strong academic background Finance or Real Estate degree preferred.

    Minimum of five years experience in acquiring and managing assets.

    Ideally retail, office and mixed-use experience.

    Knowledge of legislation for commercial leases.

    Solid analytical/logical mindset and an attention to detail.

    Strong written and verbal communication skills (clear, concise, and confident) with the ability to manage internal and external relationships.

    High level of proficiency with MS Office Excel.

    Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities to conclusion within agreed-upon deadlines.

    Strong presentation skills organized and able to develop and foster successful team relationships.
