- Manage and develop manufacturing processes and specific value stream/s
- Provide lean expertise and six sigma knowledge to input into processes and systems
- Utilise your first-class leadership skills to improve the skills and capabilities of your team through lean workshops, 5S training etc
- Ensure KPI's are met and a culture of lean and continuous improvement is embedded
- Support New Product Development and Process development with best practise – FMEA's, DFM, SPC and similar
- HND / Degree qualified in an Engineering or operational discipline (or with proven relevant industry experience)
- Have in depth lean manufacturing (ideally six sigma to green belt standard) experience gained in Production
- First class leadership / Production Management experience within an assembly manufacturing environment.
- SAP or ERP / MRP experience
- An understanding of Six Sigma / lean tools and techniques essential.

Fantastic contract opportunity for a motivated Contract Continuous Improvement Manager to join a leading design, development and manufacturer in a key , high visibility contract role.
The role of Continuous Improvement Manager will be pivotal in taking on overall responsibility for ensuring the maximum efficiency of Manufacturing Operations / Manufacturing Engineering and NPI activities.
You will use your passion for lean and first class leadership / people skills to ultimately manage and set the priorities for your Value Steam to ensure optimum productivity / continuous improvement goals are met.
