- Prior experience as a Pharmacy Dispenser or similar role
- NVQ Level 2 or 3
- Proficient in dispensing medications and following pharmacy procedures
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical products and medical terminology
- Familiarity with pharmacy software and systems
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Pharmacy Technician certification is a plus

Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role as a Pharmacy Dispenser located in Worthing, with the possibility to do overtime. As a valued member of our pharmacy team, you'll be pivotal in ensuring that every customer and patient receives exceptional service during their visits. With your dedication to delivering outstanding healthcare assistance and your capacity to offer professional advice, you'll play a crucial role in enriching the lives of individuals within your local community.
Responsibilities:
Your duties will encompass, but not be confined to:
Receiving and processing prescriptions
Labeling and dispensing prescriptions, using the dispensary computer system and adhering to standard operating procedures to guarantee safe provision to patients efficiently and accurately.
Cultivating relationships with patients, GP surgeries, suppliers, and other healthcare professionals
Upholding cleanliness and high standards within the dispensary
Dispensing care homes and MDS prescritptions
Organizing workload and optimizing dispensary layout for maximum efficiency
Providing support in completing and organizing pharmacy paperwork.
Demonstrating keen attention to detail and maintaining high levels of concentration
