- It's vital that we have staff consistency and so you will be required to pick up a minimum number of shifts. You will be able to pick up more shifts each week if you would like to. Weekday shifts and Weekend shifts are available. Flexibility would be appreciated, but we are willing to consider your personal circumstances if there are days/times you are unable to work. Full mileage paid from home to this location in Kingsteignton up to a maximum of 20 miles each way.

Description
*Ocean Healthcare* are looking for an experienced *Healthcare Assistant* to support a lovely little girl through the night at her home in *Kingsteignton*. This young girl is 6 years old and has several health challenges including epilepsy, developmental delay, and unsafe swallowing. She is gastrostomy fed and uses a BiPAP machine at night. When she's awake she loves playing and interacting with people. She will usually be asleep whilst you are on shift and you will be the only carer on shift, but when awake the family are around and very supportive. *You will be working 1:1* The ideal candidate would be a resilient, seasoned carer with a solid understanding of personal care, and experience with moving and handling. It is not essential that you have specific experience working with complex needs as you will get all the training you need. You will be trained and supported by our outstanding team of specialists and nurses. This will involve training and shadowing until one of our nurses is happy to sign you off as competent. *Training is paid for.**Pay Rates*: * *£13.05 p/hr Monday - Thursday** *£13.30 p/hr Friday** *£15.30 p/hr Saturday - Sunday** *£18.30 p/hr Bank HolidaysShifts:10pm – 7am, 2 Nights Per Week Available.
