    We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic undergraduate student, seeking practical industry experience, to become part of the Ofgem team. This opportunity is open to students who have recently finished their second year and due to go into their third year in the new academic year.

    Job description

    We are offering a one-year placement within our Project Management and Delivery Profession (PMD). Our PMD team is at the core of multiple Ofgem projects which ensures we work effectively and efficiently for our customer's needs.� You will become part of the team working across a wide range of fascinating functions to assist us with exceptional custom service, scheme compliance and the delivery of our commitment to consumers. This placement will be provided to you as a sandwich year between your education.

    You will have the ability to work efficiently as part of a wider team, with good verbal and written communication skills, to actively assist with the following requirements of the Project Management and Delivery team:

  • Assisting with the planning of projects. You will employ management tools to ensure the effective delivery of projects.
  • Taking initiative and presenting innovative ideas to a variety of internal and external interactions.
  • Being a key contributor to a variety of presentations that will be presented to key stakeholders on the progress of various projects.
  • Attending, coordinating and facilitating PMD project meetings as well as collating updates when necessary.
  • Provide wider support across to the PMD team as and when required.
