We are pleased to advertise two new whole-time posts (12-month duration) for a fellowship in Diagnostic Neuroradiology at North Bristol NHS Trust.

The successful candidates will join the team of 8 Diagnostic Neuroradiology Consultants providing neuroimaging for both adult and paediatric patients.

In addition to tertiary neuroimaging, the DNR team at NBT supports multiple adult and paediatric local and regional MDTs, allowing the post-holder to become proficient in Neuroradiology, but also providing plenty of opportunity to develop a particular subspecialist interest.

Duties will include taking a shared responsibility for the day to day running of the neuroradiology department and supporting the radiographers and radiology trainees.

The candidate will receive training in all aspects of adult and paediatric tertiary neuroimaging, including - but not limited to, neuro-oncology, skull base, paediatric, spine, neuroinflammatory and epilepsy with local and regional MDTs in all these areas.

The post will be based at North Bristol NHS Trust (NBT) Southmead Hospital and University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust (UHBW) Bristol Children's Hospital.

The department provides training for over 20 radiology SpRs, Neuroradiology and Interventional Radiology fellows with plenty of teaching opportunities.

This is an excellent opportunity for those interested in pursuing a career in tertiary Neuroradiology and will allow the successful candidates to apply for a consultant role at a tertiary neurosciences centre in the future.

These posts are not recognised for training by the Specialist Advisory Committee in Radiology and do not have postgraduate deanery approval.

Candidates must have, or be eligible for, GMC registration that allows them to work in posts that are not recognised for training.
