    Description
    Job Title: Registered Care Manager

    Location: Melton Mowbray

    Responsibilities:

    • Further develop existing business.
    • Oversee the day-to-day running of the care service.
    • Efficiently manage the business and allocate resources to deliver high-quality home care to customers within budget.
    • Manage staff so they can perform their roles safely and to the best of their ability.
    • Ensure compliance with CQC Regulations, Legislation, and Industry Standards.
    • Develop care plans and conduct assessments.
    • Collaborate with the family of patients, monitor patient recovery, and help patients gain access to different health providers as needed.
    • Provide leadership and supervision to a team of care staff.
    • Identify opportunities for staff development, how this training may fit into the wider strategy of the home and build plans for achieving these developmental targets.
    • Have an overview of the care market in the area.
    • Work towards the long-term vision of the service.

    Requirements:

    • Experience in growing a domiciliary care agency.
    • Proficiency in developing care plans and conducting assessments.
    • Experience in managing budgets and contracts.
    • Knowledge of the care market in the area.
    • Ability to lead, mentor, and coach a team who provide high-quality person-centred care.

    Qualifications:

    • NVQ/QCF level 5 in Health and Social Care
