- Further develop existing business.
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the care service.
- Efficiently manage the business and allocate resources to deliver high-quality home care to customers within budget.
- Manage staff so they can perform their roles safely and to the best of their ability.
- Ensure compliance with CQC Regulations, Legislation, and Industry Standards.
- Develop care plans and conduct assessments.
- Collaborate with the family of patients, monitor patient recovery, and help patients gain access to different health providers as needed.
- Provide leadership and supervision to a team of care staff.
- Identify opportunities for staff development, how this training may fit into the wider strategy of the home and build plans for achieving these developmental targets.
- Have an overview of the care market in the area.
- Work towards the long-term vision of the service.
- Experience in growing a domiciliary care agency.
- Proficiency in developing care plans and conducting assessments.
- Experience in managing budgets and contracts.
- Knowledge of the care market in the area.
- Ability to lead, mentor, and coach a team who provide high-quality person-centred care.
- NVQ/QCF level 5 in Health and Social Care
