- Achieving sales targets and profitability by delivering excellent customer service
- Day to day management of the sales office team ensuring the department operates smoothly, efficiently and effectively in line with company values
- Analysing sales performance, identifying trends and tracking performance against key metrics
- Making data-driven recommendations for change, improvement and growth across the sales function
- Collaborating with marketing and the wider team on sales lead generation and business development
- Providing support, direction and management of the sales office team, ensuring that processes and procedures are followed
- Support the sales office team with all sales related enquiries including product availability and lead-time, pricing and logistics queries
- Conducting annual reviews and set personal objectives, with review dates to manage and evaluate performance and productivity
- Motivating, training and developing the sales team as required, ensuring a training plan is in place for employees as part of the review process
- Proven record in achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills
- A desire to build and maintain relationships
- The ability to work in a busy office environment
- Willingness to go the extra mile to meet business and customer demands
- Full UK Drivers Licence
