The role does include:
- Supporting class teachers / the SENDCO with daytoday tasks
- Following the school's rules and implementing the school's ethos and values
- Being enthusiastic and promote high expectations for pupils
- Supporting students 1:1 and in small groups
- Building and maintaining a positive relationship with students, whilst being a resilient character
- Looking after student's physical, social, and emotional welfare
- Providing a safe and healthy environment and following safeguarding procedures
