Description
A global provider of facility services is seeking a Finance Analyst for their London team.


As a Finance Analyst, you will support for contract governance to business partners/operations team in providing data related to payroll and supplier spend, providing analysis and support as well as resolving allocation issues.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the Senior Commercial Manager in providing finance and accounting support to both internal and external key stakeholders
  • Review payroll data reports, prepare monthly reconciliations in comparison to the ledger's and cost budgets
  • Ensure payroll and supplier costs are allocated to the correct sites and service lines
  • Liaise with operational and payroll teams on a daily basis to resolve issues
  • Work with the operational teams to correct errors in data including Preparing paperwork for submission
  • Provide analysis on supplier spend trends by site/service line, and review with operational teams
  • Assist with customer data requirements on costs including supporting annual reconciliations and monthly commercial reporting
  • Support the preparation of rolling forecasts, annual budgets
  • Participate in such crossbusiness projects and assignments as may be required
  • Ensuring that processes are consistently followed and challenged to maintain financial and commercial control
  • Expectation that minimum of 23 days will be with colleagues in an office location, together with the ability to work independently / remotely when necessary

Experience and Qualifications

  • Preferred working towards an appropriate professional qualification for the role (e.g. ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or be qualified by experience
  • Extensive experience in data analysis, working with various stakeholders
  • Experience in a similar role within a multisite business is desirable
  • Prior experience of working with an outsourced organisation is desirable but not mandatory
  • Capability of adding value in a commercially orientated environment
  • Excellent Data analysis skills with attention to detail
  • A desire to get things right and work through the processes to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Knowledge and understanding of dealing with payroll and supplier data
  • Ability to highlight problems, offer practical solutions, and support their execution
  • Strong IT skills, including MS Excel
