Macildowie are working
exclusively with a
globally recognised manufacturing business in the
Aerospace Sector. They are looking to recruit a
Business Analystin to their team on a permanent basis.


The team this role is part of works very closely with Sales and Operations teams, to
drive business performance by providing focused, insightful information that will allow leaders to make better decisions and extract value in a cost effective manner.


Based from their UK office in
Derby, you will gain unrivalled visibility across the whole business, learning the ins and outs of business strategy, how the moneys made and how the business grows.

This is a
key role within business that could open the doors to a long and successful career across Finance, Commercial, Sales, Strategy and more


So what is the job?

  • Support the delivery of the long term plan for the team
  • Forecasting business returns, liaising with multiple different functions across the business to complete this activity
  • Creating and monitoring overhaul / spare parts sale forecasts to support both the Parts forecast and load forecast
  • Identify opportunities to improve the accuracy and efficiency of the business forecasting process
  • Creating and monitoring overhaul forecasts and spares part sales
  • Offer consultation to Operations and the broader business on strategy

What are you like?

  • 5 years professional experience
  • Experience working within business analysis and decision making support
  • Excellent communication, leadership and influencing skills
  • Strong modelling skills (in Excel) and the ability to see the bigger picture among a large volume of information
