Treasury Assistant - Trafford
We are seeking an experienced Treasury Assistant to join our client in the Trafford area.

Location and Hours:

This Treasury Assistant role is based in Trafford and is a Mon-Fri role (37.5 Hours).

The working hours for this role are flexible and also has a hybrid option, where you are able to work from home for 2 days a week.

Treasury Assistant Salary:

Salary is starting at £25,000, rising to £26,000 once training has been completed. (PLUS Company Bonus)

As a Treasury Assistant you will be responsible for:

Establishing payments and Direct Debits
Maintaining bank mandates and signatories
Ensuring timely payment of statutory dues
Implementing authorization levels
Reviewing bank charges
Providing support for accurate, timely, and compliant creation and maintenance of master data in SAP and other systems
Coordinating and managing master data activities across departments
Conducting bank reconciliations, postponing VAT reconciliations, and processing one bill
Performing monthend activities and generating KPI reports

What our client is looking for in a Treasury Assistant:

Prior experience in a treasury or finance function in a similar role.
GCSE Maths and English with a grade 4 or above.
Partial completion of CIMA/ACCA/AAT or willingness to pursue it.
Strong IT skills are a must.
Knowledge of SAP is preferred.
Keen attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Ability to work with minimum supervision, adapt to changing schedules and meet tight deadlines.
Capable of analysing data, communicating verbally and extracting information from various sources.
