Talent Acquisition Specialist:

Job description

We find ourselves in an exciting period of growth and transformation.

From a set of strong foundations, we are on an inspiring journey of academic development, employability, careers, and the positive contribution we can make in our region and wider world.

Underpinning this is the value we place in our colleagues as we continue to grow our teams at a rapid pace.

Talent Acquisition is in its infancy at LTU which brings a unique opportunity to join at the start of our transformation journey in how we attract and recruit the best talent available to us.

Working closely with the Talent Acquisition Business Partner, you will play a major role in the creation of a best-in-class talent function.

You will bring proactivity and energy to the role.

The roadmap is still being defined and so the opportunity to make a real impact and influence change cannot be underestimated.

If you thrive in a changing environment, are comfortable with ambiguity and place data and insight at the heart of your decision making, then you may have found your next career step at Leeds Trinity University.

We want your passion for finding great people to spill over across our Institution.

Your tenacity and courage to not always choose the easy path will be rewarded with opportunity to lead and support several initiatives to revolutionise 'how we do things'.

You will bring experience of:

  • Agency/RPO and internal recruitment
  • Collating and ensuring accuracy of recruitment data
  • Coaching managers in all aspects of resourcing
  • Microsoft Office particularly strong with Excel and analytical thinking
  • Promoting diversity within hiring practices
