Historic England has an exciting opportunity for a Personal Assistant to join us in supporting the Regional Director North West.

This is a two year fixed term contract based in our Manchester office - we are open to hybrid working where you will be based in both the office and home.
What you will be doing:
You will be working closely on a day-to-day basis with the Regional Director North-West as well as colleagues across the Local Leadership Team.
You will be the first point of contact with the Regional Director, operating as 'gatekeeper' so will have a high level of interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with key partners.
In this role, you will be responsible for the management and planning of the Regional Director's diary, ensuring that meetings and visits are organised and supported effectively and efficiently.
You will ensure the Regional Director is organised, briefed and makes most effective use of their time and you'll have an ability to intelligently assess and anticipate needs.
The role will also involve team support and working on various administrative tasks for the leadership team which will include taking minutes, circulating notes, arranging team days, planning team meetings and providing administrative support to the portfolio of projects the teams engage in.

- A high standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Evidence of secretarial, administrative and office organisation experience
- Able to intelligently assess and anticipate needs.
- Able to build and maintain effective working relationships with a wide range of people.
