Our Technical, Production and Costume Department plays a leading part in ensuring our performances are of the highest quality by delivering technical excellence for every performance, rehearsal, and event.

The Royal Opera House Flys Team expertly support across both Opera and Ballet to ensure the operational and production requirements of rehearsals and performances are carried out to the highest possible standard of safety, efficiency, and quality.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate operator and leader to work alongside the Senior Flys Manager to develop and drive forward a small, highly skilled team in a dynamic environment.

This is a hands-on role, and the Deputy Manager will be required to run the rail during changeovers as well as rehearsals and performances.

This role will suit a candidate who is passionate about delivering world class performances, understands the future and growth in Flys/Automation and can evidence working at the top of their field.

An appreciation of both technical and aesthetic aspects of performance, demonstrating a broad range of technical skills and understanding.
