SELF EMPLOYED ROLE FLEXIBLE HOURS
WEEKLY PAY AVERAGE INCOME £600-£1000
Job Summary:
The Solar Installation Technician/Surveyor will be responsible for carrying out site surveys and solar panel installations for customers who have purchased a solar energy system.
The role will involve working closely with sales and customer service teams to ensure that installations are carried out efficiently and to a high standard, providing an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site surveys to assess the suitability of the property for solar panel installation, ensuring that all relevant information is gathered and recorded accurately.
- Liaise with customers to schedule installations and ensure that they are kept informed throughout the process.
- Install solar panels and associated equipment, following company procedures and industry standards, and ensuring that all work is carried out safely and efficiently.
- Test and commission systems to ensure that they are functioning correctly and provide customers with appropriate training and advice on system operation and maintenance.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and on time, ensuring that all relevant information is recorded and filed correctly.
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area and ensure that all tools and equipment are used and stored safely and correctly.
- Participate in training and development activities to keep uptodate with industry developments and changes in legislation.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in solar panel installation and site surveying.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Good problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full driving license and willingness to travel as required.
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment and materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.

£65,000.00-£85,000.00 per year
