The role of Wine Bar Manager:
Helping to manage the day to day operation of the restaurant bar
Menu development in collaboration with the Head of Wine and Head of Bars
Training, development and supervision of bar team members
Effectively handling guest queries, complaints and feedback
An integral part of the wider management team
Supporting recruitment, induction and appraisals of new employees
looking for in a Wine Bar Manager:
Expertise in European wines, a keen interest in Orange and Natural wines, and proficiency in classic cocktails
A true understanding of quality service and a close eye for detail
Actively engage with guests and develop a database of wine enthusiasts.
Supervise all wine-related activities and events.
To embody the highest standards of hospitality and service delivery
A good level of financial awareness, cost control and payroll
A good level of knowledge in Health & Food Safety
Applicants will need to be able to commit to being available for all days and all shifts on the rota
Experience of working in a senior bar management role within a similar quality restaurant environment
62 per hour
