Encocam engineering are recruiting a
Production Operative - Multitasker for weekend shifts at our production site in
Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. Shift premiums included in salary.

At this factory we manufacture aluminium honeycomb for production in crash test barriers, composite panels and several other products. You can see our barriers being used on the Euro NCAP website to give vehicles their safety rating.

You will be working across multiple different machines around the factory, taking the sheets of aluminium, gluing and bonding the sheets together to help produce aluminium core for our Corex and Barriers division.

Key tasks and responsibilities of the role are:

Stacking and pressing light-weight aluminium foil to produce honeycomb blocks.
Manufacturing and finishing crash test barriers for shipping to major car manufacturers worldwide.
Cutting and expanding aluminium honeycomb cores to fine tolerances.
Production of the integral parts of crash barriers and absorbers for the automotive industry.
Assisting different departments to achieve production goals
Completing administrative paperwork for production records and work orders
Undertake cleaning, loading and unloading of machines.
Meet quality standard and production targets required.
Follow Company rules and policies

Previous experience in a factory environment is desirable but having the right aptitude is more important.
