    Description
    We recruiting for a leading facilities management company who are dedicated to delivering exceptional service to their clients. We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance and Operations Technician to join our dynamic team.

    Position: Maintenance and Operations TechnicianLocation: Canary WharfShift Pattern: 7:00 – 19:00, 38.5 hours per week
    Wage: £24.85ph (weekly pay)
    Responsibilities:
    • Assist with day-to-day operations, including coordinating with subcontractors when required.
    • Ensure all Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and repairs are conducted in line with Contract SLAs.
    • Complete reactive tasks promptly to meet assigned SLAs.
    • Safely operate and maintain HVAC, HV, L8, Mechanical, and Electrical systems in compliance with current legislation.
    • Maintain positive relationships with customers and deliver services with professionalism.
    • Review Risk Assessments and Method Statements, including those from contractors.
    • Obtain Permits to Work and adhere to Safe systems of work.
    • Organize and conduct daily team meetings to coordinate PPM completion.
    • Keep logbooks up to date and perform Toolbox Talks monthly.
    • Procure necessary parts for reactive and planned works.
    • Provide quotations for chargeable works to customers.
    • Offer technical support on all M&E aspects to customers.
    • Demonstrate flexibility and a "can do" attitude to provide customer-based service.
    • Be available for overtime when required for holiday and sickness cover.

    Qualifications and Required Experience:
    • IPAF Certification for 3a & 3b machines (Desirable)
    • Proven team working experience, especially in extreme circumstances.
    • C&G BS 7671 or equivalent qualification.
    • HVAP qualification.
    • Mechanical qualifications desirable.
    • Confined space qualification desirable.
    • Inspection and Testing 2391 desirable.
    • Time served buildings engineer with electrical bias.
    • Experience working on various mechanical systems (LTHW/CHWS/BCWS).
    • Experience with L8 ACOP.
    • Time served electrical tradesman or equivalent certification.
    • IOSH Managing safely or similar health and safety course.
    • Knowledge of Permit to Work system & experience issuing PTW.
    • Proficient level of IT skills.
    • Ability to effectively work under pressure.
    • Ability to diagnose faults and recommend appropriate solutions.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Confident, positive, and reliable.
