    Overall purpose of the role

    This is a BAU role, working on both the day to day running of financial and headcount for the function, as well as working on a specific project. You will be primarily focused on oversight of the Compliance cost base. The role ensures Compliance manages its financial controls and commitments, including adherence to Budget and regular reporting to stakeholders, both inside and outside the function.

    Key Accountabilities:

  • Manage and oversee the Compliance cost base, including regular reporting to stakeholders, forward projections and management of regular third party payments.
  • Production of regular financial Management Information (MI) for stakeholders.
  • Act as the key point of contact with our Finance Business Partners, working with them on activities Including: Cost allocations to the Business, analysis on our spend against budget. Manage the Annual Budgeting cycle and regular re-forecast of the Compliance total cost base. Manage and capture operational data from across Compliance, In order to assess current and future demand and capacity.
  • Key Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills, financial analysis
  • Part qualified accountant / Accounting experience (CIMA, ACCA or equivalent etc.) would be ideal
  • You must be able to demonstrate you have done similar activities of managing headcount and managing the budget
  • Also manage data that supports the strategy
  • Highly proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint; very strong Excel skills including xlookups, vlookups, sumifs
  • Effective presentation skills to both a junior and senior audience.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Excellent teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a virtual team across multiple locations.
  • Strong stakeholder management experience in multicultural professional environment.
  • Analysis, problem solving and decision making skills.
