    Role Context:

    Worley is looking for Senior HVAC Engineers to join our project delivery operation based in one of our UK locations.

    You will join the Mechanical Engineering Department which provides concept, FEED and detailed design services for mechanical equipment for Onshore Oil & Gas facilities. The Department consists of Rotating, Static and Packaged Equipment and Mechanical Handling sub-disciplines and also the HVAC and Metallurgy disciplines. Engineering positions typically involve the selection, specification, design and requisitioning of mechanical equipment.

    Your skills and expertise will be utilised across a range of domestic and international projects, starting in the bid phase, continuing through to award, start-up and execution.

    You'll be:

  • Experienced in the design and substantiation of ventilation systems
  • Delivering HVAC designs at a Senior Level
  • Producing ventilation system design deliverables, i.e. Ventilation Flow Diagrams (VFD's), Basis of Design (BoD), Plant Sizing Calculations (Heating / Cooling / Fan Sizing) Control Philosophy
  • Delivering written work including Equipment Specifications and Design Assessment Reports
  • Maintaining the required technical quality of work
  • Identifying scope and schedule changes in accordance with Change Control Process
  • Ensuring that design complies with the relevant procedures and regulations
  • Ensuring, as far as practically possible, that all assigned work is carried out in compliance with the agreed budget and schedule
  • Preparing estimates and schedules and assist in their review
  • Maintaining good communication with the client and visit Assets when necessary
  • Encouraging and providing lateral learning within the department and projects
  • Commitment to and promotion of Worley values and ensuring the realisation of company and project health, safety, environmental, quality and ethics, systems, policies and procedures
  • You'll have:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in an appropriate engineering subject
  • Sound technical background and expertise
  • Demonstratable experience in a similar role/environment, with recent relevant exposure to work in the industry
  • Experienced in the use of appropriate codes of practice, standards and relevant sections of statutory documentation
  • Experienced in the use of design and assessment methods used within the discipline
  • Competence in the use of analytical methods used within discipline including theoretical background for analysis programs
  • Ability to estimate labour hours and materials for delegated aspects of work
  • Experience in quality control requirements and quality assurance for engineering work
  • Competence in design safety/environmental requirements, procedures and responsibilities for both self and subordinates
  • Current BOSIET certificate is beneficial but not essential
