    Assistant Property Manager- Croydon- £32,000pa- DOEOne property Recruitment have been instructed upon the search for an Assistant Property Manager in Croydon.

    You will be working on their high-end Build to Rent development.

    You will work closely with the Property Manager and will ensure that the residents have the best rental experience, and you will be working towards learning and developing your skillset further with in the sector to fly through the ranks within this dynamic and high-end company.


    Your main responsibilities will consist of:

    • Ensure that internal property management systems are being used correctly.
    • Overseeing, as well as managing reactive maintenance through the helpdesk.
    • Working closely with the Property Manager in controlling costs for turnaround of apartments to ensure costs are being recovered from tenant's deposits, and competitive quotes are being obtained for repairs or replacements.
    • Keep up to date with any changes in legislation.
    • Work closely with the Property Manager and Building Manager to ensure any planned maintenance is scheduled as well as carried out.
    • Assist in both the negotiation and collection of rent arrears.
    • Assist the Property Manager in controlling costs for turnaround of apartments to ensure that costs are recovered from tenant's deposits.
    • Keep updated with health and safety procedures.
    • Assist the Property Manager with any end of tenancy matters

    • At least 1 year experience working within Property Management
    • Great at resolving complaints and ability to describe this in depth
    • Motivated, intelligent individual who wants to progress
    • An understanding of legislation relating to the management of Residential Property Law is essential.
    • A great team player and ambitious to progress.
