    Site Manager - Retail Fit-Out (Nights, 27 weeks)

    Renowned for our commitment to quality and innovation, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Manager to oversee on-site operations, ensuring the successful execution of retail fit-out projects.

    Job Summary:


    You will play a crucial role in translating design concepts into reality by managing the day-to-day activities on construction sites.


    The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of construction processes, and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.

    Responsibilities:

    Site Operations:

    Oversee all on-site activities, ensuring they align with project timelines and quality standards.
    Collaborate with Project Managers to interpret design plans and coordinate the execution of construction activities.
    Monitor and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies


    2 Team Leadership:
    Lead and manage on-site construction teams, including subcontractors, ensuring efficient collaboration and high-quality work.
    Conduct regular meetings to communicate project goals, expectations, and updates.
    Address and resolve any on-site issues or conflicts promptly.

    Quality Control:

    Implement and maintain rigorous quality control processes to ensure work meets design specifications and industry standards.
    Conduct regular inspections to identify and rectify any construction-related issues.
    Collaborate with Project Managers to address design changes or modifications during construction


    Communication and Reporting:


    Act as the primary point of contact for on-site communication, liaising between the construction team, Project Managers, and other stakeholders.

    Provide regular progress reports to Project Managers and contribute to overall project status updates.
    Document and communicate any deviations from the project plan.
    Manage on-site resources, including labour, equipment, and materials.
    Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
    Optimize resource allocation to meet project timelines and budget constraints


    Qualifications:
    Proven experience as a Site Manager in the retail fit-out or construction industry.
    In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
    Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
    Ability to read and interpret design plans and construction drawings.
    Familiarity with project management software and tools.
