Due to the promotion of our current 2iC to Assistant Head Teacher, we are looking for a new colleague to take this important position. This role would suit an experienced teacher of either Chemistry, Physics or Biology who already has some responsibilities in a Science Department but is looking for a next step which more fully recognises what they have to offer.

Science is one of the strongest departments in the school and consistently delivers exceptionally high standards in both progress and attainment terms. Students thoroughly enjoy Science lessons at this school with very good numbers continuing to A Level. Students are taught a highly practical hands-on curriculum to ensure students develop lab skills alongside superb curriculum knowledge. We are supported by the Russell Education Trust and the successful candidate will have regular support, assistance, and guidance from our excellent senior science adviser on a weekly basis.

We have a lot of information about the school on the website, but we are also keen to welcome applicants to come for a tour and a face-to-face meeting with the head of department.
