One of our clients, a leading powerhouse of the TV and Film industry, is looking for a Business Analyst to join their team on a fixed term contract, to enable the delivery of four projects within the Digital Transformation Programme.

Contract: 12-Month Fixed Term Contract

Salary:
£70,000-£75,000 p.a. depending on experience


Type of work:
Hybrid/ Personalised working (2/3 days a week in office)

Purpose of the role:

_To project manage the implementation and launch of a new _
_Media Asset Management system__, the role holder will primarily manage the MAM project by may be required to take on other workstreams, relating to the Digital Transformation Initiative recently launched in Fremantle's globalbusiness.

_


Main Responsibilities:


  • Project Manage the delivery of a new global MAM, in accordance to project objectives, scope an cost.
  • Working alongside the Digital Transformation Project Manager, lead a project team to meet the objectives of the project, taking responsibility for resource requirements and ensuring that project roles, responsibilities and structure are clear.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation, onboarding new resource within the project as and when required.
  • Plan the deliverables to meet objectives based on the technical needs of the project, working closely with the relevant technical leads to fulfil this requirement.
  • Escalating resource bottlenecks, or capacity issues in a timely manner, should they occur. Using PM autonomy to make necessary changes to improve workflow or mitigate where possible.
  • Creation of project plans, tracking and management of projects to schedule and cost
  • Maintain risks and issues register. Chair project meetings and comms with relevant stakeholders. Resolve conflicts between various deadlines and impact to projects
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projects.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered ontime, within scope and within budget
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed to Senior Business Analyst and IT Programme Manager
  • Perform risk management to minimize potential risks
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation & dashboard reporting
  • Facilitate & support team on business requirements elicitation
  • Delegate & support junior PMO Admin on project activities
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyse the successful completion of short and longterm goals
  • Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
  • Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members
  • Manage project benefits & KPIs

Education, skills, knowledge and experience

Essential:


  • Proven working experience in project management
  • Experience of successful project implementation of Media Asset Management (MAM) systems
  • Good understanding of how MAM systems work, their workflows & impact to business change
  • Excellent clientfacing and internal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with project management software tools (Jira)
  • Works to a high standard with a sense of urgency, when required.
  • Selfmotivated, results orientated and able to work on own initiative.
  • Adaptable to change and enjoys a challenge
  • Experience in change management and end user training delivery
  • Awareness of Prince 2 and Agile PM methodologies

Preferred:


  • Experience of implementing a global MAM, ideally within a Media organisation.
  • Project Accreditation such as MSP, Prince or Agile.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus

Bonus

  • Previous experience of Blue Lucy, or another known MAM (Knox, Dalet etc.).
  • Implementation of a new MAM where the MAM was not a replacement.
  • Working knowledge / experience of IPaaS (Integration Platform as a Service)
