    A fantastic opportunity for an experienced bartender to join our experienced and talented food and beverage team at OPSO restaurant in Marylebone – Immediate start

    Set in the heart of Marylebone, OPSO introduced and established the Modern Greek food in London's dining scene 10 years ago, combining the contemporary culinary perspective with the famous Greek hospitality. We are a multi-award-winning restaurant with significant distinctions in the culinary world received throughout the years.

    We are looking for a bartender with relevant experience as barista too, a strong desire to create new cocktails when needed, and the talent to work effectively within the team to provide excellent service. This is an ideal opportunity for a Bartender/Barista who wants to develop quickly to a more senior role within a fun and dynamic team.

    We pride ourselves in sourcing exclusive Greek and international high-quality spirits and creating innovative and playful cocktails. We also have an extensive Gin & Tonics list and an all-Greek wine list from well-established wineries and small independent producers, as well as some premium international wines. Serving, brunch, lunch and dinner, with an approximate 300 covers per day, the restaurant offers a creative and welcoming environment in which our staff will enhance their skills and experience.

    Salary: up to £33,800 per year

    Hours: Approximately 50 hours per week

    Requirements:

    • Cocktail experience
    • Very good coffee-making/barista skills
    • Good command of English
    • A strong work ethic
    • A passion for wine and drinks with a desire to learn
    • Drive and ambition to progress your career in a quality expanding restaurant group
    Responsibilities:
    • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks accordingly with the Restaurant's standard drink recipes
    • Present drink menus, make recommendations and answers questions regarding the aperitifs
    • Be responsible for the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies
    • Ensure all transactions are carried out accurately
    • To be accountable for stock and make the manager aware of any stock shortage
    • Adhere to cleaning schedule and ensure procedures are followed
