FINANCE SPECIALIST
This is an exciting temporary opportunity to join a nationally recognised coffeehouse as a finance specialist

The Finance Specialist will support the accounting functions of our company. This role involves diverse responsibilities in transactional accounting, invoice processing and supplier and bank reconciliation.


FINANCE SPECIALIST ROLE:


  • Processing invoices daily, ensuring accuracy and timely payments to suppliers
  • Reconciling supplier statements, maintaining an organised and uptodate financial record
  • Monitoring and responding to suppliers in a centralized inbox, handling inquiries and maintaining positive relationships
  • Reconciling multiple bank accounts accurately and efficiently
  • Managing transactional accounting in Xero, with an imminent transition to NetSuite, including reconciling payments and maintaining the Accounts Payable (AP) ledger
  • Assisting in cleansing and maintaining accurate and uptodate accounts payable records
  • Collaborating with the Financial Controller and Managing Director to manage outstanding invoices and assist in supplier communication regarding payment status

FINANCE SPECIALIST ESSENTIALS:


  • Extensive experience in transactional accounting, invoice processing and reconciliation
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent IT skills
