It ensures that both project and statutory requirements are met, whilst working to improve the effectiveness of the implementation of systems engineering within the company.
It is responsible for the requirements, system architecture, design and integration of the solution, whereby our independent test team exercise the solution.
It is responsible for defining, managing and delivering against the agreed budget.The Cyber UK Operational Business Unit delivers multiple concurrent research, development and production programmes ranging from tens of £k to several £m.

- Essential:
- Significant experience and a full understanding of testing for Verification and Validation activities and events across the Systems Engineering life cycle, CADMID/V-Model and associated development models.
- Significant experience of developing high quality Test verification and validation artefacts, aligned to the ITEAP, where all testing results in definitive outcomes to establish the compliance of the solution of interest
- Experience in writing high quality technical test related documentation and the formal technical review of such material to achieve release for use. Test Plans and Procedures.
- Experience working to SE review gate processes and being a key stakeholders prior to and heavily contribute towards the numerous TRRs.
- Advanced knowledge of System Engineering Test practices, methodologies, processes, techniques and technology trends.
- Experience of DOORS and JIRA
- Proven ability to manage defects resulting from testing, triage, oversee rectification approach, assure regression and testing to implement corrective measures.
- Experience of handson development testing and formal acceptance testing of either hardware, software or firmware solutions, prior to testing in integration and then system level testing, particularly in support of acceptance.
- Practical knowledge of optimising testing, using other verification methods, to minimise testing and/or testing to assure other methods via test evidence.
- Act as work package owner to manage and deliver the agreed and required tasks on time and on budget

- Python scripting and Robot framework
- Experience of best balance of manual and automated test to achieve the totality of the V&V campaign
