Excel Housing Solutions are seeking a Maintenance Operative to join our busy maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Changing light bulbs and ensuring other fixtures and fittings are in good working order.
  • Rewiring, changing fuses, junction boxed etc.
  • Minor plumbing and carpentry.
  • Clearing or cleaning general areas as and when required.
  • Assembling/Dismantling of furniture and equipment.
  • Moving furniture and equipment.
  • Garden & landscaping maintenance.
  • Footpath maintenance.
  • General painting and decorating.
  • Clearing gutters.
  • Maintaining property's interior and exterior areas.
  • Keep up to date records of maintenance progress and completed tasks.
  • Undertake regular health and safety checks (fire safety checks and alarms), report any issues as and when necessary.
  • Ensure each property is maintained and in a secure condition.

Essential:


  • Applicants must have a full driving licence, transport and equipment will be provided; However, you may be asked to use your own vehicle from time to time.
  • Experience working in a similar role is essential.

Desirable:


  • Fully trained in COSSH

From £11.50 per hour
