Salary:
£65,000 to £75,000 + company car and benefits

Our client is a well-established, international Retail and logistics business which, over the years, they've enjoyed impressive levels of growth and developed as a leader in their sector.

Since Covid/Lockdown, through a combination of strong leadership and some twists of fate, they have emerged stronger than ever with tribble digit growth forecast this year

They have new PE backers, that are supportive, encouraging, keen to invest in technology, change and growth, with the aim of cease the enormous opportunity that exists in their marketplace.

In support of this, they seek to appoint a high calibre IT Business Partner with great potential, that shall be realised during months and years ahead.

Additionally, the market has changed, with competitors having withdrawn or still reeling from the financial effects of the lockdown and less able to bounce back at the pace that the market is reopening.

This role is to shape and to Manage their technology change programme.

You will develop a Technology Roadmap, promoting and maximising the benefits, to operations, that can be achieved through the use of the latest and most appropriate Technology.

The role focusses upon the business needs and on ensuring the business can, and does, maximise the benefits that technology offers - the role is strategic and commercial, it is not an implementation role, although will work very closely with that function.

You will undertake from cradle to grave, with responsibility from product vision to concept approval, through scoping and mobilisation, to implementation and it is likely to encompass several different projects simultaneously.

The initial focus of the role will be implementing and building on their major business systems upgrades, delivering interventions that embed the projects benefits, shape further digitisation and data opportunities to drive value from the new platform and apply governance and leadership to the technology portfolio.

Career progression in the role will be promoted.
