DCO Planning Manager - England, United Kingdom - OXBO

The CompanyAn industry leading IPP with a pipeline of over 3GW across both transmission and distribution connections. This is across Solar, BESS, Onshore Wind and Green Hydrogen.

They are looking for a DCO Planning Manager to come in and support the UK development team with all current and future planning processes for their impressive portfolio of Solar, BESS, Onshore Wind & BESS projectsResponsibilitiesWorking closely with the team on identifying suitable development opportunities around connection opportunities.

Managing planning consultants and other contractors appointed by the company to assist in the planning process.

Reviewing team-originated land opportunities from a planning viewpoint, in cooperation with the team and their input regarding aspects of long-term requirements around construction, operation and asset management.

Managing key stakeholders through the planning process and into the site construction and operational phase.
RequirementsDetailed understanding of the UK planning system.
Knowledge of the DCO process (including EIA development) necessary, ideally in Solar/BESS developmentExperience of project management and stakeholder engagement.

Chartered status and Full Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute or other relevant professional body (or working towards membership).

Excellent written, communication and organisational skills
