    Senior Product Manager

    Location: Manchester - Hybrid

    Travel: Max 2 days consulting travel

    Employment: Full-Time

    The Opportunity:

    A Boutique Digital/Tech Consultancy seeks an influential Senior Product Manager to help oversee the E2E delivery across large-scale digital transformation programmes.

    As a digital product thought leader, you will work closely with clients to devise a Product strategy/road map, gaining stakeholder buy-in by instilling a focus on MVP thinking through writing stories and actively managing a prioritised backlog.

    Leveraging your expertise in Agile, you will foster a user-centred design approach and embed agile ways of working to support the performance of multi-disciplined teams focused on delivering bespoke and innovative digital products or services.

    Essential Experience:


    • Must be SC Clearable


    • Previous government/public sector project experience, including GDS projects.


    • Proficient in user requirements and story prioritisation.


    • Owning end-to-end product backlog, focusing on story quality.


    • Creating goal-oriented roadmaps, secures stakeholder buy-in, and emphasises MVP.


    • Leading collaborative goal breakdowns within product teams.


    • Guiding teams in managing scope aligned with product vision and goals.


    • Shapes strategies across software development lifecycle phases.


    • Demonstrates leadership, promoting sound product management practices.


    • Actively builds relationships with business stakeholders.


    • Implements tools and techniques for business analysis and requirements gathering.


    • Conducts workshops with senior stakeholders, resolving conflicting viewpoints.


    • Strong commercial awareness and active involvement in revenue activities.


    • Coaches and mentors in agile techniques and best practices.

    Benefits Package:


    • Salary: £60,000 - £72,000 (DoE)


    • Pension scheme: 8% (Company 6% with employee contributions of 2%)
