The responsibilities of becoming a SEMG Teaching Assistant -

  • As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will have the responsibility of supporting children who have SEMH needs and behavioural challenges because of things such as neglect, trauma, abuse and more
  • While working in this school, you will be working closely with farms and stables, taking part in enrichment classes
  • The school is a small community dedicated to delivering the best support for children and prioritising the student's wellbeing
  • As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will be in small classes (up to 3 pupils per class) to help them achieve the best that they can
  • To Work in a therapeutic setting with a likeminded team equally dedicated to the educational and personal development of the students
  • Excellent experience and training for aspiring Teachers, Pastoral workers, Child Psychologists, Educational Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Counsellors, and Social Workers

The ideal SEMH Teaching Assistant -

  • This is an ideal role for someone who has recently graduated from university in Psychology, Education Studies or has a level 2/3 in Health and Social Care
  • Have a genuine passion for supporting children who have SEMH/Additional needs
  • Ability to build strong and meaningful relationships
  • Have the ability to inspire children to achieve their best even under the most challenging circumstances
  • The SEMH Teaching Assistant must have a nurturing, patient, and an empathetic personality
  • You must have the ability to engage with children with SEMH needs

£400.00-£450.00 per week


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
