Description

  • Day to day direct management of one side of the TCM Reporting team including objective setting and performance monitoring
  • Ownership of core regulatory capital, liquidity, large exposures and leverage calculations and associated daily MI reports, with particular focus on either capital or liquidity
  • Responsibility and ownership for all prudential returns to the EBA and PRA covering capital, liquidity, large exposures, leverage, NSFR and Asset Encumbrance
  • Responsibility and ownership for weekly/monthly/quarterly capital and liquidity returns
  • Support production of Annual Financial Statements, ICAAP, ILAAP, Pillar 3 and other governance documents through timely provision of information for the yearend reporting cycle
  • Support preparedness for new regulations through stakeholder involvement in projects and policy discussions
  • Participation in new product approval process to ensure capital and liquidity processes accurately reflect new business activity
  • Representing the function in key discussions with stakeholders across the Bank

Profile

  • Strong academic background, educated to degree level
  • CIMA or ACCA qualified
  • Experience of directly supervising or managing a team
  • In depth knowledge of the Capital Requirements Regulation (CRR) and the latest Capital Requirements Directive (CRD IV) for banks and investment firms.
  • Detailed longstanding experience of the PRA and Bank of England's prudential and statistical reporting regimes and the COREP reporting framework.
  • Good technical knowledge of China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission (CBIRC) rules and regulations would be beneficial, but not essential.
