    Location: Brighton, (80% remote working)

    Join our team as a Solution Architect, where you will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to identify and design impactful solutions for business projects. In this role, you will take the lead in designing and delivering key projects, working in tandem with our customers and delivery teams. The Solution Architect plays a central role in every project, ensuring the successful alignment of solutions with business objectives.

    ABOUT THE ROLE

    • Perform high level technical impact assessments supporting business cases and project initiation.
    • Assist in detailed analysis, requirements capture and project planning.
    • Work with members of the IT Leadership team to devise, broker and document solutions to business problems.
    • Work with business stakeholders, application architects and development teams to evolve requirements and resolve issues as they arise.
    • Act as a central point of guidance and motivation for development teams during the systems development phases of a project.
    • Assist project team members to resolve issues with project deliverables.
    • Working with IT Leadership, proactively participate in the build and management of platform and delivery roadmaps.
    • Build a productive working environment through constructive, regular and timely feedback and by ensuring appropriate involvement, delegation and monitoring of staff.
    • Provide regular communication updates to direct reports (if applicable), and other IT team members where appropriate.
    • Encourage a culture of accountability, trust, commitment, professional development, team co-operation and support.

    ABOUT YOU

    • A bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline is preferred.
    • Experience of designing and implementing Salesforce integrated solutions, connecting Salesforce with other business databases or systems (essential)
    • Broad knowledge of enterprise business systems, but particularly CRM, BI and BPM.
    • Deep technical expertise in at least one key area of: security, performance, high availability and relational databases.
    • Broad technical awareness covering network infrastructure, information architecture, software languages and frameworks, integration technologies.
    • Previous role as an application architect, lead developer or business analyst, ideally in a medium sized enterprise.
    • Practical experience in programming, although this is not a development role.
    • Demonstrated experience in leading small teams.
    • Experience with Boomi would be disirable
    • Understanding of agile, scrum, kanban, scrumban, and related project management frameworks and techniques, with an ability to coach within and outside of the team.
    • Understanding of web application architecture and enterprise integration patterns.
