Description

A fantastic opportunity for a Production Data Analyst (Part-Time) to join a dynamic team on a contract basis for a duration of 6 months.

The job is offered on a flexible part-time basis, 2-3 days per week.


BASIC PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Pivotal in managing both the life of field production forecasts (for business planning) and the monthly short-term forecast updates. Responds to any additional business requirements for production forecasting and production reporting.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordination of the business planning process
  • Liaises with Reservoir engineers for well potentials
  • Liaises with Production Engineers/Asset Managers for planned outage assumptions
  • Liaises with wells team to agree well plug & abandonment dates and well disconnect timings
  • Key contact with Production Programming team to develop reliability and fuel/flare assumptions
  • Manages version control and audits output Palantir Dataflow superuser
  • Provision of data for reporting to regulatory authorities and Joint Venture partners
  • Works with Production Programming Team to automate business processes
  • McKinsey Benchmarking data
  • North Sea Transition Authority (NSTA) Stewardship return
  • Production Consents and consent tracking
  • Technical Committee Meeting (TCM) preparation
  • Support to commercial team
  • Management of the Oil Field Manager (OFM) databases
QUALIFICATIONS/TRAINING

Essential

Preferred

  • Degree or equivalent in a science/engineering discipline
EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS

Essential

  • Expertise in production forecasting approaches
  • Experience of data management and workflow practices
  • Skilled user of MS Office programs, specifically Excel
  • Previous Oil and Gas experience
  • OFM experience
Preferred

  • Palantir Dataflow experience
  • Knowledge of reserve and resource definitions Knowledge of NSTA regulatory and reporting requirements
  • Basic knowledge of subsurface engineering principles and production operations
  • Familiarity with EnergySys

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Track record of positive working relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders

  • Able to see inefficiencies and champion improvements
