    Senior Staff Nurse (Heamodilaysis) F/T 1 year - Internal Only


    We are looking for forward thinking, dynamic and enthusiastic individual who has proven experience renal haemodialysis with evidence of leadership and management, and who has Advance Renal Nursing qualification and is working towards leadership competencies.

    We will support you through the Senior Staff Nurse Development pathway. Opportunities for further academic education are always supported within the renal department.

    We are offering an opportunity for a motivated individual with the drive and enthusiasm to develop as a Senior Staff Nurse in Benyon Dialysis Unit.

    You should possess excellent communication skills, be visible and accessible with quality and standards as your priority.

    You will need to be flexible, learn to be resilient in order to cope with the demands of the role.

    The Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust is one of the largest District General Hospitals in the country. The hospital achieved Foundation Trust status on 1st June 2006. It was the first Foundation Trust in the South Central Strategic Health Authority.

    The Trust has a successful track record of delivering high quality acute medical and surgical services for 500,000 patients across West Berkshire, an area extending from Newbury in the west to Henley-on-Thames in the east, and including Wokingham and parts of Hampshire to the south and parts of Oxfordshire to the north.

    Registered Nurse (Pt 1/12) ((RSCN (Pt 8) if appropriate))
    Advanced Nephology Nursing Qualification

    Experience of data collection for audit/quality monitoring
    Experience of risk assessment

    European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL)
