    About The Role

    Permanent – New Role – Hybrid Working (Warwick Office)

    Using your knowledge and experience in Project Management and controls methodologies you will deliver value adding insights for the Strategic Infrastructure (SI) portfolio which can help stakeholders make informed decisions and ensure that performance metrics and regulatory obligations are met to deliver consumer benefit.
    As Reporting Analyst you will create insightful reporting dashboards to bring information together using coding language such as SQL. You will draw insights from the dashboards and deliver this information to wide stakeholder groups, particularly the Portfolio Performance Management Office, using concise and confident communication.

    This role is based at our Warwick office which has free onsite parking, and we continue to offer from office and home.

    Leveraging this hybrid working, this team currently work typically 1 day per week in the office, which is dependent on personal and business needs.

    Specifically you will be able to:


    • Effectively and confidently communicate with stakeholders from junior to senior level stakeholders through different mediums such as email, 1-1 discussions, presentations

    • Pull insights from a large, complex data set and convey the story appropriately to different stakeholders

    • Monitor and control projects using industry best-practice controls methodologies and metrics, and proficient in the use of project reporting tools

    Additional knowledge includes:


    • Knowledge and understanding of capital projects, portfolios and programmes with an emphasis on reporting and benchmarking

    • Knowledge and understanding of governance principles

    • Proficiency in Microsoft products such as Excel, PowerBI Developer and PowerApps

    What You'll Do

    You'll use your own initiative, working with the Performance and Reporting Leader to build and develop insightful portfolio level reports that is fit for purpose for SI

    Using your understanding and knowledge in Project Management and Project Controls you will help to derive insights from large data sets that help inform decision making and monitor projects using industry best-practice controls methodologies and metrics via reporting tools
    Taking the lead on submissions of annual, monthly and ad-hoc reports to a wide range of stakeholders from junior to senior executives, you'll convey this information in the right way depending on the audience.
    You'll be building reports and dashboards in Excel and PowerBI Developing using coding language like SQL and DAX coding and you'll keep learning, keeping up to date on the latest Project Management methodologies.

    What You'll Get

    A competitive salary between £47,000 – £55,000 – dependent on capability.
