Java Full stack Developer Onsite in Sheffield 2 days a week Inside IR356 month initialOur Financial Sector-based client is looking for a Java Full stack Developer to join the team on an initial 6 month contract

Role Requirements:
Work with a team of engineers and collaborate with colleagues globallyResponsible for the software development lifecycle of the changes you implementRemediation - working to tight deadlines to turn around small incremental fixes quickly and safelyMaintain code base (defects, vulnerabilities, enhancements, etc)

Assist Operations with remediation efforts through tooling and building upon existing capabilitiesWhat you will need to succeed in the role: 5+ years experience in java developmentDegree in Computer Science or related disciplineSelf-motivated person who is enthusiastic and has proven fast learning capabilityExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsWillingness to learn and quick to adapt to changing requirementsProactive approach to identifying issues, presenting solutions and optionsFamiliar with DevOps concepts and SREStrong problem solving skills with a proven track record of deliveryContinuous Integration / Build processesWhat additional skills will be good to have?Kubernetes experienceEnvironment, Change and Release Management backgroundSoftware Configuration Management / Branching / Version ControlMicroservices based architecture and concepts and cloud architecture, different types of cloud computing (preferably GCP).DevOps concepts & tools like GitHub/Jenkins, Jira, Confluence.

Using the following technologies:
git, JiraUnderstanding of Google SRE practices and conceptsRegulatory Reporting experienceInvestment Banking experience would be beneficial.
