We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Administrator to join an exciting charity whose mission is to see the lives of offenders and their communities visibly transformed through support, empowerment, and opportunity.

Newcastle


Hours:
Full-time, 37.5 per week


Salary:
£21,900-£25,944 (dependent on experience/qualifications)


Benefits: 5% Employer pension contribution

About the role:


As Operations Administrator, you will support the Head of Operations in and executing key functions within the organisation's Operations department to equip and enable it to fulfil its mission of seeing the lives of offenders and their communities visibly transformed.


Key responsibilities will include:


  • HR administration conducting the administration of recruitment & induction, staff leave, staff HR changes, appraisals, volunteers, and subcontractors.


  • Finance administration

  • Processing expenses and invoices, bank reconciliation, donation systems, donor followup, training staff in the use of finance system.
  • Reporting, social media & newsletters collating information to create reports, proofreading capturing and sharing the organisation's stories and impact
  • Office management & general administration

About You


We are looking for an experienced Operations Administrator with the ability to manage themself, including balancing conflicting priorities and working to deadlines.

They will have excellent interpersonal skills and a good eye for detail.

To succeed in the role of Operations Administrator, your key skills will include:

  • Problem solver with a can-do attitude
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Discrete and able to handle sensitive information.
  • Previous experience in an administrative role
  • Conveys maturity, confidence, and credibility to other professionals.
  • Identifies with the Christian ethos and mission of the organisation.
  • The ability to work and contribute as part of a team.
