As the largest facility in the UK for importing and exporting refrigerated propane, our operations are critical to ensuring a reliable supply of LPG nationwide.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production & Operations Manager to lead our 24/7 operational shift teams.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our process plant, maintaining regulatory compliance, and optimizing the availability of LPG supply. This role will play a key part in managing all aspects of our terminal operations, including import and export activities, security, and safe systems of work.

What you'll be doing?

• Maintain high standards, ensuring compliance with all plant operation and SHE procedures and Calor Specifications.
• Lead the Operations teams in the safe and time-bound completion of duties on high-pressure, cryogenic plant and equipment.
• Ensure the sustainability of safe systems of work through the maintenance of Operating Instructions, risk assessments, and the Permit to Work system.
• Manage terminal stock inventories, monitoring, and reporting on stock positions daily.
• Provide engineering technical support to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operations.

What you'll need?

• HNC/D or equivalent in engineering or relevant discipline (essential) or Degree in Engineering Discipline (desirable).
• IOSH/NEBOSH safety qualification (desirable).
• Demonstrable leadership and people management skills.
• Operational experience in a high hazard process-based environment (3 years).
